    According to the characteristics of special toric lenses (only astigmatic), the reference point and optical processing center of astigmatism lens were analyzed, and the measurement methods of optical parameters, effective thickness of lens and light transmittance were summarized. By using the prism effect calculation formula, the length units of the optical center horizontal deviations (of one-side) and the optical center vertical deviations can be exchanged with the prism degree, effectively solving the problem of non-uniqueness of the optical center for special toric lenses. In addition, based on the characteristics of using special toric spectacles, test methods for prescription and nonprescription special toric spectacles, as well as unilateral and bilateral Special toric spectacles were proposed.

    The antifouling performance of lens surface is one of the important functions of spectacle lens products. This paper introduced the testing principles and methods of oily pen method and contact angle method, which are commonly used to measure the antifouling performance of lens surface. The advantages and disadvantages of the two methods were verified through practice, and the application prospect of oily pen method was prospected in order to provide reference for the inspection and detection of antifouling performance of lens surface.

    With the rapid development of information technology, new media technology has been widely applied in the field of education. By observing the application and effect of new media technology in ophthalmology nursing teaching of the optometry nursing major, the results showed that the application of new media technology effectively improved teaching quality, enhanced students' interest in learning and self-learning ability, and promoted interaction between teachers and students. At the same time, there were also some problems in the application of new media technology. In order to further improve the quality and effect of teaching, it was proposed to strengthen the construction of teaching resources, enhance the teachers' information technology teaching ability and optimize the teaching design.

    With the problem of myopia among teenagers in China showing the trend of younger and heavier myopia, prevention and control of myopia has become an important cause related to national rejuvenation and national development. Improving the effectiveness of myopia prevention and control requires the assistance of science popularization and education, so there is an urgent need for a group of myopia prevention and control talents with professional knowledge of eye health who can carry out popular science propaganda. The establishment of myopia prevention and control publicity group among college students through the three steps of "one foundation, two strengthening and three upgrading" was a means to cultivate high-quality myopia prevention and control talents with popular science propaganda ability.

    Based on the investigation, the Yongzhou Vocational and Technical College Bright Eyes Public Welfare Association conducted an in-depth analysis of the major factors influencing adolescent myopia from the perspectives of genetics, environment, and eye usage behaviors. It proposed to establish a four-level linkage of "city-district-community-school" collaborative work mechanism mode with multiple departments in the field of "medical-education-physical training", a multi-dimensional health promotion mechanism of "behavior-environment-diet" and a multi-field comprehensive treatment system of "light-drug-therapy" to comprehensively prevent and control adolescent myopia. Through practice, the comprehensive intervention strategy for adolescent myopia in Yongzhou region achieved initial results, providing scientific basis and practical guidance for the prevention and control of adolescent myopia in other regions.

This article aimed to provide reference for the sustainable development of eye health science education and the improvement of public eye health levels.

    Ideological and political education is of great significance to the comprehensive development of college students majoring in ophthalmic optometry technology. This article explored some strategies based on the characteristics of the ophthalmic optometry technology major: innovating educational content and forms, strengthening the construction of teaching staff, optimizing the educational environment, and improving evaluation and feedback mechanisms. By implementing these strategies, it was found that the attractiveness and appeal of ideological and political education can be enhanced, students' initiative and enthusiasm can be stimulated, and their comprehensive development can be promoted. These strategies can cultivate high-quality ophthalmic optometry technology professionals for socialist modernization.
