The integration of science and education, as a crucial concept in modern education, presents a new opportunity for eye health science education. It was analyzed to the current status and challenges of eye health science education. Optimization strategies based on the concept of science and education integration was put forward by integrating scientific and educational resources, innovating educational methods, improving educational effectiveness and establishing long-term mechanisms. This article aimed to provide reference for the sustainable development of eye health science education and the improvement of public eye health levels.
