The fluorescencespectrum of the B3П1 →X1∑+transition of InC1 has been assigned and the time-resolution spectrum of (0,0) is measuredby laser induced fluorescence. The collision-free fluorescence radiative lifetime τ0≈ 353 ns for the B3 П1(v′ = 0), a quenching rate constant kQ ≈ 1.985 x 10-10 cm3molecule-1s-1 and the electronic transition moment |Re|2 =- 0.40D2 are obtained for thefirst time.

In this paper, the intermediate field energy matrices of the double-valuedgroup for d3 configuration are derived. The relationship among the crystal structureparameters, the ZFS parameter D and the splitting △E(2E) of the 2E state inCr3+:A12O3 laser crystal are established. On the basis of the hypothesis of thecrystal lattice distortion, the ZFS parameter D, Zeeman g factor, optical finespectra, and the splitting △E(2E) of the 2E state are calculated, the obtainedresults are in good agreement with experiment data reported in the literatures. Theresults show quantitatively that the six O2- ligand moves towards the central Cr3+ion by O.OO325 nm, meanwhile, the front three O2- of the Cr3+ rotate O.286° toward[111] axis while the back three O2- rotate 1.118° toward it.

With an atomic beamapparatus and two lasers at λ1 = 852.1nm and λ2=510nm, the Cs atoms are excited to high Rydberg states via a two-step process. The Starkeffect of the Rydberg Cs atom has been experimentally studied in the range of externalfield 0~600 V/cm, the map of the Stark spectra reveal profound “l-mixing” and “n-mixing” of the Stark sublevels.

The effect of energy transfer is an important phenomenon in luminescence material. Energy transfer between 5, 6, 11, 12 -tetraphenyltetracene(Rubrene) and N, N'-bis-(1-naphhyl)-N, N'-diphenyl-l,l'-biphenyl-4,4'-diamine(NPB) has been studied in organic thin film by time-resolved spectra and emission spectra. The dynamics equations were discussed to explain these process, andthe solutions obtained can be compared to the computer simulation with the experimental results. White light emission can be produced by adjusting the concentration of Rubrene in photoluminescence. However, with devices of structureITO/CuPc/NPB:Rubrene/TPBi/Alq/Mg:Ag with a blocking layer, the white lightemission can not be obtained by adjusting the concentration of Rubrene in electroluminescence. The mechanism of energy transfer has some difference in electricfield.

Using an ultra-weak bioluminescent image detecting system, the delayedluminescent (DL) images of Excoecaria cochinchinnensis leaves and some other plantspecies are detected. The results show that the DL can offer the important information of photosynthesis, cell division and energy transformation of plant species.Chlorophyll plays an important role in the plant DL. However cell division alsohas some influence on DL. The measured photon count rate after light illuminationcan be approximated by a hyperbolic decay law, which supports coherence theory.Whereas, two-exponential law also accords with measured data, which shows thatDL perhaps comes from two photosystems in plant cells and each of them gives achaotic luminescence after induced by light.

The angular spectrum ofspontaneous radiation from crossed electric and magnetic field E0 × B0 drifting electronsis derived on the basis of the classical single-particle motion equations and theradiative law of the electron with accelerated motion. The result is applicable to thosecases of the nonrelativistic and the relativistic electron incidence. The spontaneousradiation for the energy factor γ0 = 1 and γ0》1 is discussedparticularly.

The phase conjugation of an aberrated beam is investigated when theaberrated beam is incompletely sampled by the phase-conjugate mirror. The effectsof the fidelity of partially phase conjugated images and the peak value of phaseconjugation on the finite aperture of phase conjugate mirror are demonstrated theoretically and experimenlally.

The properties of the phase evolution in the system of a single-mode field interacting with a two-level atom via multiphoton process in a high Q cavity filled with the Kerr-like medium are studied by means of the non-relativistic quantum electrodynamics. The influences of coupling constant X, frequency detuning △ and transfering number k on the phase probability distribution, the phase diffusion and the frequency shift are emphatically discussed under the strong field condition.

Starting from equation for the classical motion of an active dissipative mesoscopic coupled inductor circuit of source, Hamiltonian of the circuit can be canonically transformed by used three unitary opertors, the transforming matrix are presented. Quantum fluctuations of the charge and current in the mesoscopic coupled inductor circuit in the vacuum state are investigated.

The behavior of Erbium-doped superflorescent fiber sources (SFS) is simulated numerically. Both simulated output power and spectral shape of SFS are shown to be in good agreement with the experimental results for the cases of SPB/SPF configurations. The theoretical analysis of SFS in double-pass backward configuration (DPB) are presented for the first time. It is shown that with certain reflectivity reflector, DPB SFS can provide not only higher pump efficiency but also larger spectral width than other configuration SFSs under stable operation conditions.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) is a new kind of noninvasive cross-sectional imaging technique. In this paper, OCT system is implemented by use of superluminescent diodes and a tunable mode-locked Ti: Sapphire femtosecond pulse laser source. The properties of OCT system, transverse and axial resolution, are measured. The OCT image of plant and animal eye tissue are obtained. The quality of image with different light source is compared.

The spatial distribution of the ECR plasma density in the reaction chamber has been measured by using a eccentric langmuir probe. The surface roughness characteristic of Si3N4 thin film has been researched with the profilometer Telystep-Hobbson. The results show the surface of this kind of thin film made by ECR-PECVD technology is very smooth.

The focused-beam thermal blooming effect in the focusing range is studied experimentally. For steady thermal blooming, the variation of the relative radius of the focusing spot vs the distortion nmnber Nd and the variation of the focusing spot intensity integration over the Arry size vs the ratio of incident power to critical power are obtained. It indicates that the blooming in focusing range has serious influence on the beacon intensity distribution at the receiving pupil.
