Nature Photonics-Meeting Report highlighted the LFEX laser results as one of three major light-related talks at the 71st Spring Meeting of the Japan Society of Applied Physics in March 2024.

The results were achieved by a team led by Takehito Hayakawa, Senior Researcher at the Kansai Photon Science Institute of the National Institute of Quantum Science and Technology, and Professor Akifumi Yogo at the Institute of Laser Engineering, Osaka University, who evaluated the potential of a new quantum source termed by Laser-driven Neutron Source for the generation of medical RIs.
