    Figures & Tables(4)
Texture of PS-DF-BPLC observed under polarized microscope. The cell thickness is 6.2 μm,T=35 ℃,the scale bar is 30 μm.
Experimental setup. The sample is sandwiched between two right-angle prisms and detected with a linearly polarized laser beam incident at 45° with respect to the normal of the cell.
Dynamics of δn in response to the voltage pulseof the PS-DF-BPLC when the voltage pulses duration are(a)470 ns,(b)600 ns,(c)770 ns,respectively. E0=3.8×107 V/m,T=35 ℃.
Dynamics of δn in response to the durations of two voltage pulsesof the PS-DF-BPLC. The first voltage pulse durations are 400 ns for both(a)and(b),the second voltage pulse durations are(a)400 ns and(b)550 ns,respectively. E0=3.8×107 V/m,T=35 ℃.
