According to the real-time, portability and economic needs of the pedestrian positioning system, the paper designs and builds an experimental platform about real-time inertial navigation of pedestrian based on the system on chip (SoC). The platform has both rich computing resources and rich interface resources. Without relying on any external auxiliary equipment, the platform displays the position of pedestrians in different sports modes in real time. Compared with the traditional inertial navigation positioning platform, the platform can expand multiple comprehensive and exploratory experiments, and support basic or professional experiments of different stages and different difficulties. Compared with the common experiment platform of neural network, the platform performs better in terms of cost, power consumption, volume, etc. The experiment platform with both real-time and portability can provide intuitive and thorough practical experience for students. Compared with the simulation verification, the new experiment platform help stimulate students’ interest in learning, and balance the cultivation between scientific research exploration ability and engineering realization ability.
