Gain measurements of pulsed avalanche discharge XeCl laser by means of amplified spontaneous emission
The small signal gain of pulsed avalanche discharge XeCl laser was measured by means of amplified spontaneous emission (ASE). In comparison with the gain obtained by oscillator-amplifier method, the obtained effective saturation pump power density of X-ray preionized XeCl laser was I.=0.8MW/cm3.
