    Figures & Tables(5)
Focusing and scanning light through a multimode fiber based on binary amplitude modulation DMD technique.(a) A plane wave is focused at the proximal end of a MMF, while a random speckle pattern is usually obtained at the distal end of it; (b) wavefront of the incident light is shaped,so that the scattered light through a MMF focuses at a target area; (c) process of the binary amplitude modulation
    Experimental setup
Focused scanning experiment. (a) A random speckle pattern is obtained at the distal end of the MMF before modulating the incident wavefront; (b) nine focused spots are generated at nine different locations by binary amplitude modulation DMD technique; (c) focusing and scanning light through MMF at three focused planes along the axial direction
Diameter and focusing efficiency of the focused spots
Experimental results. (a) Variation of focusing efficiency with amplitude modulation coefficient; (b) variation of focusing efficiency with the number of sub-regions determined
