    Through the realworld study with a large sample size,itwas conducted to evaluate the efficacy of a ring microstructure designed defocus lens in slowing or controlling myopia in adolescents in realistic clinical settings,which was iBright? defocus lens,and the control product was ordinary single vision lens. Propensity score matching (PSM) was used to controlconfounding bias. The progression of myopia was assessed by the change of axial length and spherical equivalent determined by objective refraction under cycloplegia. The 6-monthfollow-up results showed thatthe totaleffective rate of iBright? defocus lens in slowing the progression of spherical equivalentwas 54.9% and in slowing the progression of axial length was 63.4%. iBright? defocus lens can effectively slow or controlthe progression of myopia.

    The differences between results tested by Eye Test Technology (ETT) software installed in a mobile phone and by an automated refractor were compared,. The same group was subjected to mobile phone software refraction and computer refraction,and the Bland-Altman analysis method was used to evaluate the consistency of the two methods,and the t-test and correlation analysis test were used to determine whether there was a difference or correlation. It was shown that software ETT could be a starting reference for the myopic or astigmatism testing of computer refraction.

    Thereisan essentialdifferencebetween the simulated eyeand the human eye. The simulated eye is a simple refractive system,and retinoscopy optometry of the simulated eye is easy to use. While the human eye is notjusta refractive system,butalso has mechanisms such as crystal conditioning and pupil change,which makes it difficult to operate human eye retinoscopy optometry. Therefore,the simulated eye examination is the basis of optometric learning,and it is necessary to master the technique of the simulated eye retinoscopy optometry,and then human eye examination maybe carried out.

    Through the investigation of the demand of custom-made frame glasses,combining the analysis and application ofcustom-made frame,custom-made lens and custom-made parameters,the application of customized frame glasses in the precise management of myopia was explored. The results show that the customized frame can help the myopic management users to choose their own frames and improve their satisfaction. Single-vision,double-vision,progressive,defocus lens and otherpersonalized lenses can help myopia management. In a variety of scenarios about myopia prevention and control,different lens can achieve personalized parameters of multi-scene customization. The parameters of personality fitting can make use of the frame glasses to have a comprehensive effect on myopia management. Precise myopia management and fitting technology based on personalized customized glasses can improve the wearing experience and enhance the prevention and control effectof myopia.

    Through a questionnairesurveyon careeroutlook awarenesstargeting135 new studentsmajoring in optometry technology,it was found that most freshmen choose this major mostly based on the expectations of engaging in related careers in the future,but their understanding of the employment prospects for this majorwaslimited,and the expected salary wasquitedifferentfrom the actualsituation. Students generally perceived the main advantage of careers related to optometry technology to be stable employmentopportunities,but they also recognized the challenges of pursuing. The survey found that students’career awareness was crucial for their career planning and future development. Based on these findings,itwas suggested thatcollegesand universities should strengthen careerguidanceto help students establish more realistic careerexpectations,and atthe sametime provide more internship opportunities to help students prepare for their future careers.

    The teaching standards of higher vocational optometry technology major based on the “1+X” certificate system werestudied,which wasto improvetheteachingqualityofthismajor,cultivatestudents ' professional skills and quality and meet the needs of the society for optometry technical talents. By analyzing the connotation and characteristics of the “1+X”certificate system and combining with the characteristics ofoptometry technology in higher vocational colleges,the teaching standards of the major were putforward,including curriculum setting,teaching content,teaching methods,teaching resources. Meanwhile,the implementation measures and evaluation mechanism of the teaching standard were analyzed to ensure its effectiveness and feasibility.
