    The effect of heat treatment on transmittance and thermal expansion of low expansion transparent glass ceramic with Li2O, Al2O3 and SiO2 as its main components was investigated by using DSC, XRD, dilatometer and spectrophotometer, etc. The proper heat treatment was determined. The glass ceramic with high transmittance of 76.58% and near zero expansion coefficient was nucleated at 720 ℃ for 10 h and crystallized at 880 ℃ for 1.5 h. Its main crystalline phase is β-quartz.

    This work focuses on structure, viscosity, mechanical properties, and chemical strengthening properties of aluminosilicate glass with different amounts of La2O3 and Y2O3 for cover materials. It was found that the appropriate addition of La2O3 and Y2O3 can improve glass production adaptability, mechanical and chemical strengthening properties. According to the viscosity measurement, fining temperature of aluminosilicate glass decreases 6-20 ℃ when the total mole fraction of La3+ and Y3+ increased by 0.5%. The Young’s modules, shear modules and micro-Vickers hardness of aluminosilicate glass were increased with La2O3 and Y2O3 addition, and the maximum values are 84.33, 33.90 and 6.48 GPa with La3+ and Y3+ total mole fraction of 1.5%, respectively. The surface compressive stress (CS) of the glass after chemical strengthening first increases as large as 28% and then decreases with La2O3 and Y2O3 contents, and the depth of layer (DOL) remains unchanged at first and then increases with La2O3 and Y2O3 contents. Raman spectrum shows that when La3+ and Y3+ total mole fraction is in 0-1.5%, the non-bridging oxygen content is nearly unchanged. Within the range of 1.5%-2.5% of La3+ and Y3+ total mole fraction, the amounts of non-bridging oxygen increase with more La2O3 and Y2O3 content.

    Vapor cell is the core component of the quantum instruments, and its stability and service life mainly determine the long-term reliability of the quantum instrument. During the preparation of vapor cell, the residual stress generated by high-temperature welding can affect its mechanical and optical properties. Excessive stress may lead to the explosion of vapor cell during processing. The crack caused by stress release may lead to its failure in use. The measurement and elimination of residual stress is great significance for improving the stability and service life of vapor cell. In this paper, a birefringence stress meter was employed to nondestructive test the stress in vapor cell. After annealing treatment, the maximum value, average value and standard deviation of the measured stress decreased in vapor cell shell by 81.35%, 75.67% and 77.32%, respectively.

    A holder for fused alumina lip refractory used in glass furnace was designed and manufactured. This device provides a protective structure for the lip bricks in secondary use during transportation. This structure consist of cross buckles to fix the lip bricks temporarily, foam inner cavity and hard shell for external protection to precisely fit the lip bricks and to achieve multi-level protection.

    In the production process of photoelectric glass substrate, the edge of the glass substrate is necessary to be ground to eliminate the defects such as edge crack, burnt edge and flaking, thus avoiding fragmentation used in panel factory. The main reasons for edge defects were analyzed, then the grinding technology for photoelectric display glass substrate was optimized. It is vertified that the edge quality was improved obviously and the incidence of edge defects was reduced in actual production.

    Enamel assembled tank is one of the best choices for landfill leachate treatment. The enamel assembled tank used in the landfill leachate treating process needs to have excellent corrosion resistance. So the steel plate should be annealed at high temperature to eliminate the internal pressure of the thick steel plate, and then the surface of the steel plate was pretreated by sandblasting and so on. After drying and sintering, excellent corrosion resistance of landfill leachate enamel layer and steel plate form a strong dense strength.

    Transition metal carbonates (MCO3, M=Mn, Fe, Co or Ni) have attracted much attention as a novel kind of advanced anode materials of lithium ion batteries due to their high theoretical capacity of about 1 600 mA·h·g-1. However, their practical applications have been greatly limited due to the poor conductivity, low ion conductivity and large volume expansion of micron scale transition metal carbonates synthesized by conventional methods. This paper summarized three typical and effective strategies to dramatically improve the lithium storage performances of transition metal carbonates based on the literature review, revealed the intrinsic reaction mechanism of transition metal carbonates and proposed a rational design strategy for the structural composition of MCO3, which is a reference value for the in-depth development of transition metal carbonate anodes with high specific capacity, excellent multiplicity performance and long-term cycling stability.
