A lossless compression and decompression method is presented, which is based on RICE code recommended by CCSDS(Consultative Committee for space Data Systems). After bringing the function to software, the algorithm is optimized and the function is achieved successfully in FPGA using the Verilog hardware description language. The compression card and the decompression card which have been manufactured are small cubage, light weight and low power consumption. The system's highest processing speed can achieve 20M bits per second. It is possible to extend the data capability of this system. The system is mainly used for remote sensing image of MODIS. Its average compression ratio is over 1.6.

Because the calculation results and efficiency of the methods of tracking moving object available are not satisfactory, an algorithm using improved Hausdorff distance in the template matching was proposed, which is little in calculating amount and strong in adaptability. To track the object in a high speed, multiresolution analysis is adopted to deal with the array images. Experimental results demonstrate that this method can improve the accuracy and efficiency of tracking moving object remarkably.

As a common image reconstruction algorithm for limited projection data, algebraic reconstruction technique has some disadvantages such as sensitive to the noise and bad reconstructed result for the noise. Considering the characteristics of the distribution of the gas density, a novel image reconstruction method named multi-object optimization image reconstruction was proposed. It is showed that the scheme can reduce the impact of the noise and improve the reconstructed image quality.

We constitute a synchronous binary channel system of measuring the energy ofpulsing laser, by using AD and the probe of EM500 energy meter. The design approach of each portion, the method of calibration and checkout for the system were discassed. The result of calibration and checkout indicates that this system is precise and reliable. We can use this system to synchronously measure the energy of pulsing laser in two point of an optical system. Finally the applications of this system in the SRS experiment was presented.

The excited double-mode SU(2) coherent state is introduced and its nonclassical properties are investigated with numeric method. The results exhibit that when the photons are added to the fields of the double mode SU(2) coherent state, the two field modes can preserve anti-correlation character. The violation of Cauchy-Schwartz inequality, the sub-Poissonian photon statistics properties and the anti-bunching effect of the fields are all enhanced.

The phase properties in the system of the coupling two-level atoms interacting with squeezed coherent-state light-field is studied from the point of the Pegg-Barnett phase theory. The phase probability distribution and the phase fluctuation are investigated. Meanwhile, the influence of the field amplitude, the compressed parameter, and the coupling coefficient between atoms on the phase properties is also discussed. The results show that the phase probability distribution presents three-peak Gaussian configuration. The maximum of the phase probability distribution lies at the point of the zero phase arid the phase fluctuation is small, while at other place the value of the phase probability distribution is relatively small and vibrates easily. At the same time, because of the influence of light-field squeezing effect, the phase probability distribution is different from that of coherent-state field.

The photon statistical evolution in the process of two coupling two-level atoms interacting with the squeezed coherent state light field is investigated by means of the interacting picture and the quantum theory. Meanwhile, the influence of the squeezed light field factor γ, the coherent vibration amplitude |α|2 of the field-atom, the coupling constant g of two atoms and the coupling constant λ of atom-field on the mean photon number of stimulated field are also discussed. The relations of them are revealed.

By thermo-field dynamics (TFD), we study the quantum fluctuations of charge and magnetic flux of a mesoscopic circuit including resistor, inductor and capacitor (RLC) in coherent states and squeezed states at finite temperature. It is shown that the fluctuations of charge and magnetic flux depend on not only the parameters of the circuit components but also the environmental temperature and squeezing parameters, while the fluctuations don't depend on displacement parameters.

In this paper, the multimode squeezed state theory is utilized to study the characteristics of generalized nonlinear-unequal-power higher-power sum-squeezing of generalized magnetic-field component in the state |ψ(f)(2)>q made up of the linear superposition of multimode functional coherent state |{fj(x,y,z)}>q and its contrary state |{-fj(x,y,z)}>q according to the superposition principle of quantum state in quantum mechanics. It is found that: 1) under the condition of the sum of squeezing-power-number being an any even-number, thestate |ψ(f)(2)>q can always stay in the generalized nonlinear unequal-power Nj-H minimum uncertainty state;and 2) under the condition of the sum of squeezing-power-number being an anyodd-number, while some other fixed conditions are satisfied by the state |ψ(f)(2)>q the state mentioned can display the effects of generalized nonlinear unequal-power Nj-th power H-squeezing that changes periodically and alternatively.

The pressure effect on the polarization of electronic excited state in a GaN/GaAlN quantum well is studied. The effects of the anisotropy of the wurtzite structure on the strain and the hydrostatic deformation potential are considered, including the build-in internal electric field. It is shown that, all of the electronic barrier height, the electronic effective masses and the strength of the polarization of the electronic excited state decrease linearly with pressure. But because of the localization of the electronic wave functions caused by the build-in internal electric field, the decreases are small.

Using the Shu Lien Chuang method , the change of heavy and light hole energy caused by the strain calculated in the AlInGaAs/AlGaAs strain was quantum well. According to the Harrison model, the energy level distribution of the hole and electron in the strain AlIn-GaAs/AlGaAs quantum well and GaAs/AlGaAs unstrain quantum well were detailedly calculated and discussed. Further, through calculating and comparing the different quantum wells linear gain, we obtained that the AlInGaAs/AlGaAs stain quantum well has the better optical gain characteristic than the GaAs/AlGaAs unstrain quantum well. So the AlInGaAs/AlGaAs stain quantum well semiconductor material was used to fabricate semiconductor laser with the advantage over the traditional GaAs/AlGaAs material.

Characteristics of double-pass backward (DPB) superfluorescent fiber source (SFS) manufactured by heavily doped erbium fiber are investigated. Advantages of the superfluorescent source are its high output power and broad bandwidth. We achieve the optimum fiber length for obtaining largest bandwidth with certain pump power by simulation. In the experiment, we use a 980 nm laser diode to pump a 10 m-length optimized Lucent-LRL fiber and use self-building fiber reflector loop to form the DPB SFS. Broad bandwidth superfluorescent fiber source with 26 mW output power is obtained with this configuration.

A method of fabricating dual-wavelength fiber Bragg grating with a uniform phase mask is demonstrated. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation using matrix method are given. The moving exposing technique is adopted. A good control over the grating's reflectivity and the separation of the two Bragg wavelengths is enabled by adjusting the stretch, the length of the grating, and the exposure. A grating with two equal transmission peak of 19.5 dB is obtained by using this method and the separation of the two Bragg wavelengths is 0.78 nm.

Measurements of polarized properties of atmospheric scattering radiation is one of an effective means of investigating the optical and physical parameters. Taking atmosphere of Hefei area as an example, using the field spectropolarimeter, a lot of polarized spectral measurement data of atmosphere have been obtained from the ground in different time and space. By calculating and analyzing, we obtained the distribution information of atmospheric polarization properties. This work can provide material in retrieving the parameter of atmospheric aerosol and modeling polarized properties of the atmospheric aerosol scattering radiation.
