Based on the input-output table data of Zhejiang Province from 2002 to 2017, the forward and backward correlations between the transportation industry and the three industries, the segmented industries were calculated, and the trend of structural changes were analyzed. The industrial ripple effects were studied through influence and sensitivity coefficients. The results indicate that the driving force of the transportation industry on other industries is greater than the pulling force, and it has a strong correlation with the secondary and tertiary industries. The degree of correlation with the tertiary industry is gradually increasing, manifested in the strengthening of backward demand for service industries such as information software transmission and information technology services, real estate, culture and sports and entertainment, and the increasing forward supply for service industries such as leasing and commerce, wholesale and retail, scientific research and technology. Finally, relevant suggestions are proposed for the integrated development of transportation industry with other industries from three aspects, including strengthening departmental collaboration, optimizing industrial layout and creating a development ecosystem.
