Measuring stability of optical reference cavities by analysing polarization spectrum
A polarization method for measuring- the stability of optical reference cavities is reported. Measurement with I2 stabilized He-Ne laser (the stability is less than 2 X 10-10) and sampling time of 0.01s confirmed that the stability of a tested cavity was about 1.3x10-9.
