A new definition of signal to noise ratio for an opticalIM transmitter
A new definition of signal to noise ratio (SNR) for an optical IM transmitter is presented taking into consideration of both the IM noise and the dynamic frequency shift. The effects of weak optical feedback on SNE are studied.
