The existing detection technologies for foreign fibers in cotton were systematically analyzed, including their detection principles, methodologies, and application effects. The current development status of foreign fiber detection technologies both in China and abroad was thoroughly described. The development trends of detection technologies, removal technologies, and related equipment for foreign fibers in cotton were deeply discussed, and their application prospects were also explored.
