Taking advantage of the opportunity of “Good House in Hunan” design contest in 2024, this paper performs research aimed at an actual residence quarter project in Wangcheng District of Changsha City. Adopting the idea of “The Future Oasiss-Boundless Valley”, it explores diversified future ecological residence community; it puts forward the design concept of “fourfold forest”, and it constructs the ecological system for green health, open sharing and harmonious coexistence from fourfold spaces, including ground green valley, second-floor veranda, aerial platform and resident space; the space elasticity of multigenerational families is given consideration through modular combination of dwelling unit, so as to meet the full lifecycle living needs; technical foundation is firmly laid by intelligent and green energy-saving technique for future ecological residential area, so as to improve the living quality in an all-round way. Ideal model of “good house” will be molded through a series of exploration, so as to provide the thought and method that can be referenced for future community construction, so as to promote residential design to develop toward the direction with more humanistic care, eco-friendliness and scientific charm.
