Elimination of polarization-induced fading is one of the key technologies of interferometric fiber optic sensors.Single-mode fiber optic Michelson interferometer based on Faraday rotation mirror (FRM) is researched. The effect of FRM rotation angle error on the system performance is analyzed and simulated based on Jones matrix. When the FRM rotation angle error is less than 6°,the visibility of interferometer remains above 0.9. The effects of different wavelengths on the interferometer performance are discussed. When the wavelength is close to central wavelength, the interferometer visibility remains above 0.9. Experimental results show that at wavelength of 1495.4-1606.7 nm,the visibility of interferometer is close to 1 and the performance remanis good.
