Theory of Q-switched pulse train laser
Starting from the well-known rate equations, population accumulation and loss process during a period of time for a pulse train laser are analysed and a population equation describing pulse train laser is formulatel As a consequence, analytical expressions of its performance parameters such as output energy, peak power, pulse width and delay time can be derived from the period of time tT and effective pumping rate B as variables.
