Observation on the Effect of Point-type Linear Polarized Light Acupoint Irradiation on Relieving Symptoms of Lumbar Disc Herniation
Observation on the effect of point-type linear polarized light point irradiation on the relief of lumbar disc herniation. Forty-four patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into two groups: observation group(A)and control group(B): group A(22 cases) was treated with point-point linear polarized light irradiation and group B(22 cases)was treated with traditional acupuncture. Two weeks and four weeks before and after treatment, the curative effect was analyzed by visual analogue score(VAS)and low back pain scale Japanese orthopaedic association scores(JOA). 1)After treatment, the VAS and JOA value of point type linear polarized light(group A)and traditional acupuncture point(group B)were significantly higher than those before treatment(P<0.05). The results showed that the treatment of lumbar disc herniation in the two groups was effective. 2)After the treatment, there was a comparison between the two groups. There was no statistical difference between point type linear polarized light point irradiation and traditional acupuncture(P>0.05). The total improvement rate after JOA treatment was 89 in the observation group and 86 in the control group. Point-type linear polarized light point irradiation has an obvious effect on relieving lumbago and leg pain in patients with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation, and its curative effect is similar to that of traditional acupuncture, and it makes up for the deficiency of traditional acupuncture treatment and expands the scope of indication.
