Constant temperature control of optimum standing wave frequency of an acousto-optic mode-locker

    The changes of the best standing wave frequency with that of temperature in acousto-optic mode-locked device were measured. The changing rate is about 8.0 kH_z/℃. A micro-thermostatical furnace and a temperature controlling circuit were developped on the basis of the above measurement. Over 5 hours stable and continous operation of the acoustic-photo active mode-locked Ar+ laser was achived.
