Research on 2,5-disubstituted oxazoles——The fluorescence quantum yield and laser output of 2-(p-biphenyl)-5-phenyl-oxazole and some of its 5-p-substituted phenyl derivatives
The fluorescence quantum yield and laser output of 2-(p-biphenyl)-5-phenyl-oxazole and thirteen 5-substituted phenyl derivatives are given. A brief discussion is also made on therelation between the subtituent effects and spectral properties of the compounds.
