An Aerial Calibration Method for Installation Error of Photoelectric Pod
Aiming at the issue of complex operation caused by the need of specialized instruments for ground calibration of installation errors in traditional optoelectronic pods,which requires repeated adjustments,an airborne calibration method is proposed. In the process of carrier flight,by selecting the cooperative target with known coordinates in the field of view for tracking,and using the data such as carrier position,carrier attitude,observation pointing angle of the photoelectric pod, and the position of the cooperative target,the real-time fitting solution of the installation error angle of the photoelectric pod can be carried out. This proposed method can greatly save the workload and improve the efficiency while ensuring the calibration accuracy.
