Development of a wearable pet health monitoring system based on ESP32 and Arduino

With the rapid development of the pet economy, the demand for pet health monitoring has significantly increased. A wearable pet health monitoring system for dogs was developed based on ESP32 and Arduino, which took into account both aesthetic design and functional requirements. The system utilized ESP32 as the main controller, integrating temperature and heart rate sensors to collect pet health data in real time. The data was transmitted to a smartphone application via a Bluetooth communication module. Experimental results indicated that the monitoring error was maintained within 5%, and user satisfaction surveys demonstrated a generally positive evaluation. The application potential of the system in the field of pet health monitoring can provide a reliable reference for future research and development.
