Effect of weak optical feedback on AM and FM noise spectra of semiconductor lasers
Both FM noise spectrum and AM noise spectrum of a semiconductor laser(LD) can be changed by weak optical feedback under proper conditions. The suppression of noise is accompanied by the reduction of relaxation oscillating frequency.
