Numerical Simulations and Experimental Research of OPO Threshold Reduction and Conversion Efficiency Improvement Via Injection-seeding
A detailed theoretical and experimental investigation of an injection-seeded BBOoptical parametric oscillator (OPO) is undertaken. We find that the injection-seeding notonly reduces the linewidth of the laser output, but also lowers the OPO's threshold andimproves the conversion efficiency. The theoretical results agree with the experiments verywell.
