Abstract Get PDF(in Chinese)

In this paper, we have measured the surface and the bulk damage thresholds' in Czochralski-and Stockbeger-method-grown sapphire crystals under 1.06 μm and 0.53 μm laser irradiation. We also analyses the factor which affects the damage, and discuss the different damage mechanisms.
