Analysics of Xixia Painted Wooden Chair Pigments by X-ray Diffractometer and X-ray Fluorescence Analyzer

    X-ray diffraction spectrometer and X-ray fluorescence were used to analyze the pigments of Xixia painted wooden chair unearthed in Baisikou West Tower. The results showed that the red, orange and yellow pigments used in Xixia painted wooden chair was composed of vermilion, lead and gold. The test results provide an accurate basis for the use of pigments un the protection and restoration
