X-ray diffraction spectrometer and X-ray fluorescence were used to analyze the pigments of Xixia painted wooden chair unearthed in Baisikou West Tower. The results showed that the red, orange and yellow pigments used in Xixia painted wooden chair was composed of vermilion, lead and gold.
