    Conclusions

We have fabricated a 5-tube Nested HC-ARF with an outstanding optical performance. This Nested HC-ARF possesses an average attenuation value of 0.38 dB/km from 1545 nm to 1660 nm. The excellent modal purity of the fiber is also experimentally verified. We believe that this fiber is attractive to many applications such as long-haul data transmission.
