In this paper, the magnetic hysteresis curves of In-BiCaVIG crystal are given. The effects of magnetic hysteresis and saturation effects on a magneto-optic fiber sensor is analyzed in detail. Magnetic hysteresis affects the phase delay mainly, and less the amplitude and frequency spectrum when the measured magnetic field signal is an alternating quantity. Magnetic saturation effects not only decrease the amplitude, but also change the frequency spectrum obviously.
