Polarization Analysis of Signal Readout for Dual-Beam Magnetooptical Storage
The polarization of signal readout system in dual beam magnetooptical storage is analyzed with Jones matrix. The formula of readout signal is deduced. The effects of phase retardation of polarized beam splitter and magnetooptical disk substrate are discussed.
