Simulation of the Arrayed Waveguide Grating with a Simple Method
The method of declining Gaussian beam in AWG is introduced. A 4×4 AWG is simulated with this method, and the result is compared with that using BPM method. This method is simple and feasible. It is helpful to optimize the design of devices.
