Basing on the performances of copper vapor laser, several remarkable problems related to design a master oscillator—power—amplifier chain have been briefly mentioned. The inaction source, the spatial filter, the delay and timing of amplifiers, thermal lens effects and the corn pensation, the polarization and so on are discussed.
