The feasibility of using tapered fiber instead of focusing objective to generate coherent Raman scattering signal is verified by numerical simulation and experimental measurement. The transmission characteristics of ultra-short pulse in tapered fiber are analyzed by numerical calculation and experimental measurement. It is proved that the tapered fiber with a length of 5 cm cone region can effectively ensure the time-domain and spectral characteristics of ultra-short pulse transmission in the tapered fiber, and the power attenuation is small, and the maximum insertion loss in the wavelength range of 850~1 100 nm does not exceed 1.05 dB, the average value is 0.84 dB.Then, the Raman formant of cyclohexane at 2 853 cm-1 is successfully detected by tapered fiber, which proves the feasibility of using tapered fiber to excite coherent Raman spectra. The use of tapered fiber excitation coherent Raman spectroscopy is flexible and convenient in signal excitation, which gets rid of the constraints of traditional space optics, and provides a new way for the development of coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (CARS) systems in the field of endoscopic imaging and minimally invasive detection.
