Fast Angle Vector Computation Algorithm Based on Row Gray Projection Correlation for Rotation Image
As current electronic image stabilization algorithms are weak in angle vector computation for rotation images,a fast angle vector computation algorithm based on row gray projection correlation was presented. By selecting reference frames areas and correlating their row gray projection areas in the center areas of current frames,angle vector between frames was computed. The principle of selecting projection and rotation areas was discussed. Through analyzing the correlation curves between row gray projection and column gray projection,the conclusion is educed that the row gray projection curve has single peak characteristic. Principle of fast searching algorithm and its application in this algorithm were explained. Experiment show that the algorithm realizes fast angle vector computation of rotation images sequence,and can compute any angle vector with high precision.
