With the core concept of “natural growth of rice civilisation”, the Anjiang Museum researched the key technologies of formwork system design and construction, aiming to achieve the dual goals of artistic effect and green construction, in response to the technical challenges in the construction of bamboo textured fair-faced concrete walls, such as the difficulty in selecting and controlling the bamboo materials, the unevenness of formwork joints and the colour difference of the concrete finishes. The research results show that: the turnover rate of bamboo formwork is increased to more than 4 times, the material consumption is reduced by 35%; the energy consumption of construction is reduced by 18%, and the construction waste is reduced by 28%; in the maintenance stage, through the micro-sprinkler irrigation and heat radiation technology, the water consumption is saved by 40%, and the energy consumption in winter is reduced by 25%. Through the recycling of materials, optimisation of process parameters and integration of intelligent technologies, the bamboo mould fair-faced concrete construction problems have been overcome, significantly reducing resource consumption and carbon emissions, and providing a technical paradigm for green construction that can be promoted.
