Study of Resonance Ionization of Atom Na Produced by Photodissociation of Sodium Iodide Molecule
In this paper, sodium iodide molecule dissociation was reported with a pulsed laser at 330 nm, and then one of the dissociated products, Na, was ionized by using resonance ionization method. By analysing time of flight mass spectra (TOFMS) of sodium ion Na +, the feature of Na + mass spectra was studied and the possible multiphoto ionization (MPI) process was discussed.
