Fabrication and Properties of Quantum⁃dot Microstructure Light Guide Plate by Ink⁃jet Printing

    Based on the ink⁃jet printing, the high-precision transferring of QDs material and UV glue composite ink were realized. The LGP had regular microstructure morphology, high stability and superior light-emitting effect. The coffee ring was inhibited by adjusting the ratio of UV glue to solvent. To achieve the white balance of the LGP, the proportion of red and green QDs and the QDs concentration of the ink were adjusted respectively. A method of six-times printing was proposed which could print the microstructure and prevent the microstructure from being connected in series. The QMS was characterized, the uniformity of the LGP was 80.8%, the average luminance intensity was 2 769cd/m2, the color coordinates was (0.3294,0.3081), and the color gamut could reach 105% NTSC. This work is conducive to obtain the superior light-emitting effect, low-cost and high-stability QMS LGP.
