The mixer in an sintering plant is a critical piece of equipment in the sintering process, with the design of its internal liner plates directly impacting the permeability of the sintering machine and the quality of the sintered ore. Traditional oil-containing nylon liner plates suffer from issues such as material adhesion, poor wear resistance, and short service life. Through improvements, a composite liner plate made of ceramic, rubber, and steel vulcanization has been introduced, offering advantages such as a smooth surface, high wear resistance, and a long service life (exceeding five years). Additionally, the discrete element method was used to establish a mathematical model for simulating the granulation process in the mixer. By optimizing the segmented layout of the liner plates and the orientation of the lifting strips in both primary and secondary mixers, the mixing uniformity and granulation efficiency were significantly enhanced. This technology holds substantial potential for widespread application.
