Iso-propagation vortices with OAM-independent size and divergence toward future faster optical communications (Erratum)
The erratum notes the addition of a reference citation that was inadvertently omitted in the originally published article.
This erratum addresses a typographical oversight in the originally published article [Adv. Photon.
The reference, which elucidates the limitations imposed by the inevitable increase in beam size and divergence of conventional vortex beams on the capacity potential of contemporary spatial mode-division multiplexing, has been added to the published article. It is now included in the caption of Figure 1 as follows:
(d) Receivers with limited size obstruct the passage of OAM beams having large l values due to increasing beam size and divergence as the mode index grows.14 However, (e) IPVs of any l can easily traverse because of their OAM-independent propagation characteristics, maintaining their structure even after turbulence or obstacles.14
