Discussion on the design of coating systems for color coating lines

    The automated design of regular-color and special-color coating systems for color coating lines is explored. A centralized liquid supply system and an automatic paint dispensing system have been developed for the regular-color coating system. In the dispensing process, the original paint is accurately measured using a radar level gauge, while the diluent is measured by a flow meter to ensure precise proportioning. The amount of diluent is automatically adjusted based on the real-time detected values of the online viscometer. The coating temperature is precisely controlled by a temperature control unit using a constant temperature water bath. To meet the explosion-proof requirements, the solenoid valves are installed on a pneumatic valve board outside the coating chamber. For the special-color coating system, an automatic bucket lid lifting device has been designed. This device automatically lifts the bucket lid, together with the integrated equipment such as diaphragm pumps, stirrers, and radar level gauges, enabling rapid replacement of the standard coating barrels. Additionally, an automatic paint tray cleaning system is designed to reduce the labor intensity of manual cleaning, minimize environmental hazards, and enhance operational safety.
