In this paper, a novel miniaturized low-pass double notch filter composed of single-sided composite periodic spoof surface plasmon polaritons(SSPPs) waveguides and interdigital resonators was proposed. The mode conversion structure in the conventional SSPPs filters was removed, which effectively reduced the size of the filter, thus realizing the miniaturization of the filter. Furthermore, by introducing two interdigital resonators on the SSPPs transmission line and three ones on the bottom metal plate separately, thereby generating two transmission zeros and achieving two independently tunable notches. The simulated and measured results show that the proposed filter has high transmission efficiency with the cutoff frequency of 8.3 GHz, return loss in the band of less than 16.6 dB, and the notch suppression of 20 dB.
