The traditional sketch teaching focused on improving students' painting and modeling abilities, but it had certain limitations in stimulating creative thinking and promoting national culture. To cultivate artistic talents with innovative consciousness, divergent thinking, and cultural confidence, a sketch teaching model integrating Chinese traditional aesthetic elements and innovative ability development was proposed. Through strategic teaching method reforms, the students' artistic expression and cultural awareness were effectively improved. The research outcomes provided valuable references for the reform and construction of sketch courses, promoting the integration of traditional art education and modern innovative education.
