Particle Simulation of Vacuum Heating in Plasmas Produced by an Ultrashort Laser Pulse
The absorption process of an ultrashort, obliquely incident laser pulse is studied using a two- dimensional multi- time- scale fully electromagnetic relativistic particle simulation. Vacuum heating mechanism is numerically simulated.
