Key Technology of Automatic Labeling for Glass Bottle

    To address the low efficiency of manual labeling in deep processing of glass bottles, an automatic labeling equipment based on four degrees of freedom (4-DOF) manipulator and servo turntable was developed. The contour features of the glass bottle equipped with machine vision recognition were used for positioning and labeling, and then the pressure labeling was carried out in turn. The prototype test showed that the average qualified rate of products after labeling and baking was about 98.12%, and the average time consumption of the whole labeling process was about 1.69 s per bottle, which showed that this technology realized flexible labeling efficiently and accurately, and it had significantly enhanced production efficiency and product quality.
