Measurements of Sound Speed in Sea Water with Different Salinity and Temperature by Brillouin Scattering Method

    It is reported that the sound speed in sea water with different salinity and temperature was measured using Brillouin scattering. The measured results show that the method using Brillouin scattering is a good technique for remote sensing to the ocean.
