    Ultra-thin high-aluminum-silicate glass was taken as the research object, and the surface compressive stress, microhardness, impact strength and ion exchange depth of the glass samples before and after ion exchange were tested systematically. The experimental results show that the surface compressive stress of glass was increased from 83.4 MPa to 925.3 MPa, the microhardness was increased from 657.5 to 875.1, the test height of falling ball was increased from 18.3 cm to 45.7 cm, and the diffusion depth of K+ increased from 27 μm obtained by one-step ion exchange to 44 μm obtained by two-step ion exchange.

    The alkali-free high aluminum borosilicate glass melting temperature is very high. The service life of glass furnace is greatly affected by the melting temperature and process stability. After long-term production practice, it is found that it can achieve the purpose of improving the stability of the melting process and effectively cooling the weak parts of the furnace by stabilizing the state of the material pile, pushing in the electrode brick in time, optimizing the structure of cooling system and other measures, so as to slow down the erosion rate and prolong the service life of furnace.

    In glass manufacturing industry, glass melting furnace over 1 000 t/d would greatly improve the energy efficiency and reduce the pollution emission to meet with the needs of peak carbon dioxide emission and carbon neutrality. In this work, the selection of crown refractory and design of crown for large scale glass melting furnace was introduced. More higher standard of construction of large span furnace crown was proposed.

    This paper expounds the heat preservation operation of electric melting furnace during shutdown, before and after shutdown, heat preservation and power transmission, and recovery of production. In order to ensure the quality of materials and without affect the service life of furnace, it is emphasized that the glass liquid in the furnace should not harden during shutdown and insulation, and the operating specifications should be abided by operators on duty.

    The control method of stabilizing potassium oxide content in glass insulator production is introduced. It is pointed out that the consistency and stability of product quality can be got by stabilizing the addition amount of raw materials introducing of K2O introduced raw materials, stabilizing melting process and reasonably controlling the volatilization amount of K2O.

    The morphology, chemical composition of the deposits in the inner wall of the bubble were analyzed by optical polaring microscope, scanning electron microscope-energy spectrometer. Gas composition in the bubble were analyzed by bubble analysis mass spectrometer. Cause of the bubble was determined: SiC was contained in the new energy-saving silica brick used in furnace crown, which was partially broken during the temperature rise, then the broken brick slag fell into the furnace before adding broken glass and batching. With the liquid glass moving to the end of the working part, the broken brick slag continuously react with liquid glass to form bubbles. Finally, a solution to the bubble defect was proposed, and the application effect is ideal.

    Two high temperature imaging methods (sessile drop high temperature imaging and capillary high temperature imaging) and two calculation methods (droplet sphere layer iteration method and droplet spherical contour curve integration method) for measuring the density of glass melt were discussed. Then the high temperature density of the glass melt of the typical electronic yarn formula E for glass fiber was calculated by using the sessile drop method of high temperature imaging and the droplet sphere layer iteration method. The application of the high temperature density of the glass melt in the glass furnace technology and the glass high temperature characteristic testing technology were discussed.

    The quality of the storage water heater liner directly affects the safety, health and service life of the water heater. QB/T 2590-2021 "Enamel Units of Storage Water Heaters" was issued, causing a high degree of attention to the enterprise, with a valuable impact on the water heater industry, which benefit to regulate the quality of water heaters enamel units. In order to meet the needs of industry development and further understanding of the standard, this paper compared the changes in technical content before and after the revision of the standard. The revision of the standard basically solves the problems identified in the current storage water heater enamel units industry.
