    How to generate a chaotic sequence in an optical domain and it is used as an address code in an optical code division multiple access (OCDMA) system is a new research direction in recent years. A generator producing simulated bipolar chaotic sequences completely in optical domains is designed by a Mach-zehender?interferometer. The amplitude and phase of an incident?light field are modulated by controlling the phase shift of two arms on the Mach-zehender?interferometer. So the vector of output optical field is equal to the product of input optical field vector and the cosine item. A chaotic sequence generator is made up of several interferometers, optical?fiber?delay?lines?and?phase?shifters. And a bipolar chaotic sequence is generated in an optical domain according to logistic?mapping. The chaotic sequence generator can be used as the encoder and decoder of the OCDMA system to improve security and increase numbers of users accommodated by the system.

    Aiming at the problem of automation due to the nonlinear characteristic between the input and output of colorimetric technology, a new kind of intellectual colorimetric temperature measurement system is designed. Its temperature measurement principle and structure are introduced. Software is designed by look-up table and dichotomous search. And temperature is determined by interpolation calculation. So the intellectual calculation of duplex output voltage to temperature value is realized. It has the advantages of small volume, fast response and the like. And the interference from emissivity changes is reduced greatly. Moreover, temperature can be displayed in real time and higher temperature measurement accuracy is guaranteed.

    Thread angle identification is a common method to distinguish thread types. Traditional detection methods have many disadvantages such as low efficiency and high cost and gauges are easy to be abraded. The needs of high efficient development of modern industry are not met any more. CCD is used to obtain the basic image of thread. And the thread contour is analyzed through image smoothness, edge detection, binary image production and contour hunting. The thread angle parameters are measured and identified. The measurement methods of thread angle parameter using machine vision are discussed. And a thread recognition system mainly based on the machine vision recognition technology and integrated visual sensing with image processing system is designed. The feasibility and correctness of the method is proved from theory and practice.

    The technology of optical phased array is a new beam deflection technology with the advantages of fast scanning, anti-jamming, high resolution and secrecy. But grating lobe is one of the bottleneck problems in the research optical phased array technology. Incorporating with the history, principles, development actuality and tendency of optical phased array technology, the influences of grating lobe are explained. Based on the presented methods of grating lobes reducing, a new method of changing the incident light phases of irregular optical phased array is introduced. The grating lobes of optical phased array are restrained effectively by the method. The advantages and disadvantages of three methods are discussed. And the development prospects of optical phased array technology are forecasted.

    Trapezoidal distortion correction and clear images collection are important indexes of an optical fingerprint identification system. Total internal reflection acquisition method of surface light source is adopted and cheap k9 glass is chosen as the material of prism. Three pieces of spherical lens is used as an imaging system in which two pieces of small lens can be designed into the same lens by optical design software CODEV. The whole field of view of optical modulation transfer function (MTF) is more than 0.5. There is no trapezoidal distortion and illumination is uniform. Comparing with other non-trapezoidal distortion productions on market, the product has smaller volume and lower cost. It is easy to fit and can meet the needs of production.

    For researching the factors affecting second-harmonic generation in photorefractive crystal, based on the generation theory of the phenomenon of frequency multiplication in optical second-harmonic, the multiplication frequency phenomenon of spatial frequency in self-defocus LiNbO3 crystal is found. The generation states of second harmonic are controlled by interference method through changing the parameters of amplitude mask in optical path. The results show that the generation quantities of split strip are affected by the quantities of light source. The generation of second-harmonic is affected by periodic waveguide. When the quantities of light source and periodic waveguide are constant, the second-harmonic will appear more quickly and obviously with the increasing of optical intensity.

    Research and development of Terahertz (THz) devices based on liquid crystal technology have been one of the important research directions in the area of THz technology. The application background and basic knowledge of THz liquid crystal device are introduced. The electro-optical and material properties of liquid crystal in the area of THz are discussed in detail. Some potential liquid crystal materials are introduced. Based on this, the design principle and presented research results of THz liquid crystal phase shifter, THz tunable liquid crystal filter and THz tunable polarizer are analyzed. The application developments of THz liquid crystal devices are summarized and analyzed finally. And research and development directions of the devices are proposed.

    A fabrication method of a kind of new and flexible conductive substrate with millimeter wave material is inroduced. The metal coating is deposited on the surface of terylene substrate using the composite coating technology of vacuum magnetic control sputtering. The conductive performance and coating adhesion of the conductive substrate are tested. And the millimeter radiation characteristics in 3 mm waveband between the conductive substrate and the metal aluminum board are tested by a millimeter wave radiometer testing system. The results show that the conductive coating is uniform, flexible, ethereal and thin and has good coating adhesion strength and stronger conductive performance. The millimeter wave radiation of conductive substrate in 3 mm waveband corresponds to the performance of metal board.

    The edges of speckles in traditional camouflage patterns is smooth and clear which is disadvantage to blend with the background with broken speckles. The edges of digital camouflage are ambiguous and broken. Big speckles can be segmented effectively at short range observation. Spatial color mixture is formed at long distance observation and the effect of camouflage is enhanced greatly. So the digital camouflage is one of the most important parts in camouflage design in recent years. The important step of digital copy camouflage design is from the main color speckle in background to the generation of digital camouflage. According to the spatial color mixture principle, a probability model of digital camouflage speckle distribution is introduced so as to quantify the distribution of digital camouflage unit. The generation method from main color speckles in background to digital camouflage patterns is designed. Incorporating with MATLAB image processing technology and probability distribution models, digital camouflage patterns are generated through programming. The result shows that the digital camouflage patterns with broken edges and good spatial color mixture effect can be generated with the method. And a new idea is provided for the design of digital copy camouflage.

    The result of feature extraction on multi-spectral image is directly related to the complex degree of target recognition algorithm. And the performance of final target recognition is also influenced. The traditional local binary pattern (LBP) feature extraction method is researched. And several new LBP feature such as directional LBP feature describer, adaptive LBP feature describer and directional adaptive feature describer are introduced. And they are applied to texture features extraction of multi-spectral images. Experimental results show that LBP feature describer and its improvement methods are very suitable for extracting the texture features of multi-spectral images.

    The formula of watching color stimulation about the painting is reasoned out from the object color stimulation by considering the effect of atmospheric attenuate and atmospheric color. The watching color stimulation of four kinds of basic paintings in different distance is calculated under the best atmospheric vantage taking no account of size. The results show that with the increasing of observation distance, the watching chromatic aberration of four kinds of paintings decreases rapidly and the decreasing extent also decreases rapidly. The watching chromatic aberrations of four kinds of paintings are all less than 3at 16 km observation distance to produce color mixture.

    During the processing of infrared image information, the sampled image information should be pre-processed at first. According to 320×240 infrared detection chip of SOFRADIR company, the hardware design based on digital signal processor (DSP) and field programmable gate array (FPGA) image pre-processing system is introduced. And the non-uniformity algorithm of image pre-processing is researched. The collected infrared image signals is pre-processed on the hardware platform of image pre-processing system by two-point correction method of non-uniformity algorithm and better results are obtained. The rationality of the hardware system and the feasibility of the algorithm design are proved.

    In picture archiving & communication system (PACS) image processing, the conflict problem between resolution and field of vision is often met. The greater is the field of vision, the smaller is the resolution. The problem can be solved by image stitching technology effectively. Choosing a robust and rapid image registration method is the most important thing for achieving good effect of image stitching. The image stitching process is introduced at first. Then the advantages and disadvantages of the detection algorithm for different feature points based on feature image registration are analyzed and compared in detail. The detection algorithm for speeded up robust features (SURF) point is realized through C language finally. And the real PACS images are used to test the effectiveness of detection algorithm for feature points in PACS images.

    According to the model mismatch error caused by non-multipath time delay in GO-MC-CD-MA system, an improved LS channel estimation technology is introduced. The problem of model mismatch error from ignoring noise is solved effectively. And the error can be compensated by adaptive regulation effectively. So the anti-noise ability is enhanced. The improved LS channel algorithm is realized in field programmable gate array (FPGA) and the structure block diagrams are presented.

    Measuring instant dynamic parameters at the time of perforating is very important for evaluating the process of perforating. It is a necessary technology to research and explore oil field. For getting the down-hole dynamic pressure data in the process of perforating, a pressure tester of oil well is developed. Storage testing technology is applied in the device to record the change of down-hole annulus pressure at the condition of perforating and fracturing at real time. Self-contained power supply of the testing system is used to power during the testing process. Volume and capacity of the battery is lower for the limited volume of the testing system. According to actual testing environment, low power design is performed to the oil down-hole testing system. The total power consumption calculation and actual testing results show that the requirements of testing methods of down-hole pressure are met and the effectiveness of low power consumption design is verified.

    A photoelectric detection circuit used in fiber Bragg grating (FBG) seismic surveying system is researched and designed. The Bragg signal wave reflected by a fiber grating reflector from a broadband light source is very weak. So the detection of weak signal is very difficult and the detection accuracy of the entire seismic demodulation system is also influenced. Based on the general circuit design idea, a photoelectric conversion circuit detecting weak signals is researched and designed. Experimental results show that the noise in the circuit is only 0.19 mv. So the demodulation accuracy and speed of the system are improved.

    The properties of optical system are affected by laser scattering characteristics of optical mirror significantly. Bidirectional reflectance distribution function (BRDF) of the optical mirror is simulated and calculated by modified Mie theory. The results show that the scattering characteristics of light are affected by particulate contaminants on the surface of a mirror obviously. In addition, the wavelength of a beam of incident laser is inversely proportional to BRDF value and scattering will becomes very complicated as the wavelength is shorter. Keeping the surface of optical mirror clean is very important for maintaining the properties of optical mirror.

    Double-station IR ranging system on mobile platform has higher practicability. By analyzing the process of ranging, the principle of coordinate transformation and the conception of space crossing are described. And the method of double-station IR ranging on mobile platform is introduced. Incorporating with the requirements of practical application, the elements influencing the ranging accuracy of the ranging algorithm are analyzed. And error expressions are given. Simulation analysis for ranging accuracy is performed and the relationships of double-station distance, detected azimuth and ranging accuracy are researched.

    Accurate measurement technology of laser detection sensitivity is mainly introduced. The accurate measurement of laser detection sensitivity is realized by some advanced technologies such as the homogenization shaping technology of laser beam and the number control (NC) adjustment technology of laser attenuation. Verified by relative experiments, the range of output power density of laser detection sensitivity testing is 0.32×10-6~1.43 W/mm2, the uncertainty changing range is 2.0 %~9.1% and dynamic range is 66 dB.

    The significance and development trend of automatic test system (ATS) in the field of testing and maintenance of electronic equipments are discussed. The significance of test program set (TPS) in ATS is introduced. The structure and function of TPS and general testing platform are described. Taking the video output equipment for example, the tested unit interface adapter (TUA) is designed based on the testing requirements. And the testing programs (TP) are designed by the means of the combination of TestStand and VC++. The practical operation results show that TPS has the capabilities of function testing, fault diagnosis and isolation for video output equipments.

    The structure principles and production characteristics of the smoke of burnable carbon black are introduced. The thermal images of the infrared smoke formed by several kinds of infrared smoke agent are tested, compared and analyzed. The results show that the smoke has good obscuring characteristics at the band of 3~5 μm and 8~12 μm. And the main factors influencing the output of carbon black are the carbon content of compound, burning speed and temperature.

    The factors influencing hardware-in-the-loop simulation of laser angle deception jamming are analyzed based on the operation principles of laser warning and laser guidance theory. The awareness of the attacker and defender under typical conditions is constructed respectively. Key parameters are simulated and analyzed. The relationships between configuration and connection of the equipments are put forward based on construction principles.
