    The structures of multi-axis consistency testing systems of aiming line and gun bore line are introduced. The concepts of expanding systems are referred. The design methods of expanding lens systems are described. According to dynamic optics theory, the alternative schemes of expanding lens are analyzed and compared. The precision of testing systems whether can meet the requirement in large field of view is verified which includes the errors of collimators, aiming line and TV cameras and the errors generated in optical observation mirrors, infrared cameras, laser rangefinders, gun bore line and collimators.

    The development plan of US military common infrared countermeasure (CIRCM) system and the requirements of weight and modularity of the system are described. Bids for CIRCM program among BAE Systems, Northrop Grumman and SELEX Galileo, ITT Corporation and Lockheed Martin Aculight, Raytheon missile systems, Lockheed Martin missile and fire control system teamed with DRS Technologies are analyzed. And the development progresses, actual situation and characteristics of the product are summarized. Bid results and development features of CIRCM technology are introduced.

    Based on low-altitude laser atmospheric transmission models, distributions of scattering irradiance of 1.06 μm laser in atmospheric transmission are calculated. By comparing with echo signal energy of lasers at the same conditions, calculation results are found to be different from the results of theoretical analysis. The reason is that single pulse characteristics of lasers are not considered. By improving the formulas of laser scattering energy at single pulse operation mode, the calculation accuracy of scattering detection is enhanced.

    The advantages and applications of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) are briefly introduced. The electro-optical payloads on fixed wing UAV and UAV helicopter are analyzed. Based on this, the new UAV platform is introduced. The development trends of UAV electro-optical payloads are summarized in the end. With the rapid development of UAV platform technology and electro-optical payload technology, UAV electro-optical payloads will have the characteristics of long endurance, good stealthy, multipurpose, active electro-optical jamming ability and high intelligence.

    Technology optimization of electro-optical conversion efficiency of crystalline silicon solar cell is introduced. High emitter sheet resistance and how to adapt to the technology of high sheet resistance in following procedures are introduced especially. Considering of technology stability, the method of deep PN junction high sheet resistance is mainly used on the area of high sheet resistance. The open circuit voltage of 635 mV, the short circuit current of 5.817 A and the average cell efficiency of 18.67% have been achieved through a series of technology optimizations and a lot of experiments.

    A piece of ITO glass is used as the source electrode of a field-effect transistor. Two pieces of plastic aluminum flake with same thickness are pasted on the glass as gate and drain electrodes. A small and parallel gap between two pieces of aluminum pin is left. Teflon films are wiped on the glass of source, gate and drain electrodes as hydrophobic layers. Epoxide resin is used as cofferdam material so a new liquid field-effect transistor (LiquiFET) is produced based on electrowetting on dielectric (EWOD) effect. The displacement of colored oil drop is adjusted by changing the voltages of drain electrodes. And the current changes of source and gate electrodes are controlled. A liquid field-effect transistor is fabricated and its preliminary test results are given.

    As one of the common image distortions in fiber plate, the imaging quality and accuracy of relative components are influenced by magnification image distortion greatly. Distribution of magnification image distortion in fiber plate is researched. Changing trend of horizontal magnification in plate is from high to low then grows high gradually and there is an abrupt area close to edges. Center magnification is the lowest at vertical and magnifications at both ends are the highest. According to forced states of single fiber at local micro area, producing reasons and influence factors of the magnification distribution are analyzed. Magnification image distortion is controlled in 1% effectively by adding lubricating materials and optimizing process parameters such as thermo-forming temperature and suppressed scale etc. of roughcast sections of optical fiber plates.

    Tunable filtering method based on F-P cavity is a distribution fiber grating sensing demodulation method with good practicability and mature development. Peak detecting technology is the key to this method. Spectrum correlation method is emphasized to realize the principle of peak detecting. Waveform interference among sensing signals of distribution fiber grating sensing system is analyzed. Based on TMS320C6416 fixed point digital signal processing (DSP) chip, a correlation algorithm of relative frequency is realized and the algorithm has an ideal result in both calculation precision and operation speed. Research on the technology has certain theoretical guidance meaning and reference value.

    Invariant feature of three images such as normalized moment of inertia (NMI), invariant moment and contour moment are analyzed based on airplane targets. New extraction methods of target NMI feature are proposed. The experiment shows that NMI feature extracted with the new method has good translation, rotation and scaling invariance compared with traditional NMI feature and invariant moment extraction algorithm. And extraction method is simple and easy to implement.

    It takes a long time for high speed frame cameras to record image information of target states. The images need to be compressed, recorded and transmitted in real time for limited storage capacity of record medium. The speed of EZW and SPIHT coding methods are both too slow to work out on field-programmable gate array (FPGA) and they need high quality buffer storage. A new coding algorithm has been proposed based on redundancy and distribution characteristics of wavelet coefficients after wavelet transformation. Wavelet systems are grouped dynamically by directly comparing with magnitude of coefficients and incorporating characteristics of numbers and distributions. Less memory space is used to record coefficient information of images. The algorithm is suitable for FPGA. The feasibility of the method is verified by experiments.

    It is difficult to acquire the whole scene simultaneously when the size of a needing scene is beyond the scope of an optical sensor. According to this problem, a minitype field of view mosaic system is developed. Several optical sensors are adopted to capture the scene simultaneously and several overlapped images are acquired. The overlapped images are registered and fused to realize image mosaic with seamless and wide field of view.

    Pulse code mainly includes four kinds of codes such as repetition frequency code, cycle code, pulse code modulation (PCM) code and pseudo-random code, and among which PCM code is the most widely used. PCM code with variable code bit and basic frequency of 1~12 bits and 5~50 Hz is researched. Characteristics and generation principles of PCM code are analyzed. Based on the design of actual hardware and software, implement methods are discussed. Output results of different PCM codes are given finally.

    Structure characteristics of electro-optical turrets are analyzed and compared for determining the structure scheme. Detailed design analysis of basic frame structure, support mode, power source, driving modes and shaft structure are performed and the calculations of calibration and error analysis are conducted. Structure schemes of fine electro-optical turrets are confirmed finally. Turrets developed on the schemes have high precision and the rationality of the structure schemes of fine electro-optical turret is verified.

    Measurement accuracy of time interval plays a decisive role in ranging accuracy in laser ranging process. According to measurement accuracy of time interval, a high accuracy measurement method is proposed based on TDC-GP1 counting chip. Time interval is directly converted into high accuracy number. Incorporated with the implement methods of software and hardware, TDC-GP1 is controlled by DSP chip to perform time interval measurement of single-channel. Time interval measurement process is completed by inner coarse counters and fine delay time channels. Time interval to be tested is directly converted into digital readout. The experiment results show that the module has fast measurement frequency, good linearity, and the single pulse measurement accuracy is less than 100 ps, which can meet the requirements of speed measurement and accuracy in different applications.

    Photovoltaic energy is a clean, economic, sufficient and safe energy. The photovoltaic energy generation inverter based on MSP430 is specially designed for photovoltaic energy generation. According to instability of sun illumination, protecting circuits and feedback control circuits are added. By tracking the maximum power point, solar energy is exploited efficiently. After being processed by inverting circuits, commutating and filtering circuits, a stable voltage of 220 V is output. Characteristics of master control chip MSP430F149 are introduced. Software and hardware structures for system design are given.

    Based on principles, structures and performances of optical delay line, realization methods of all-optical delay line are introduced on detail. All-optical tunable delay line based on wavelength conversion and optical fiber dispersion is thought as an important factor in all-optical network. Applications of optical delay line in optical time division multiplex (OTDM), optical measurement and optical switching are introduced. The needed improvements of all-optical delay line are summarized finally.

    Chips are tested before electrical installation, which is an important precondition to ensure the reliability and stability of systems. A test method of M128-554 communications processor module produced in domestic is introduced. The characteristics of the module are analyzed. An automatic testing platform which includes a PC controlling center, a tested module M128-554, a microcontroller CPU TM128 with 4 serial ports simulation signal and two 16C554 chips with 4 serial ports communication capability is built. Combined with C51 language and Borland C++ builder6.0 language, design and implementation of the test system are completed. The detailed design schemes and testing methods are described.

    The operating states and features of semiconductor lasers are discussed based on basic theory models of laser feedback self-mixing interference effect and phase equations at moderate feedback condition. Measurement experiment systems of self-mixing interference are built for experiment research, which are compared and analyzed with the results of simulation. Based on this, the experiment research result shows that a good linear relationship between amplitude of loudspeaker and driving voltage is formed.
