In this paper, the acquisition with the antenna scanning in intersatellite laser links was studied both in theory and simulation. A theorized model for acquisition was given, and some parameters that influence the system of acquisition were analyzed. In order to verify the analytical outcomes, a simulation system of the acquisition in the laboratory was built. The results from the tests accord well with those from the theoretical analysis.

    A new algorithm of wavefront reconstruction based on the cyclic radial shearing interferomerter is given This is a technique that the actual wavefront can be reconstructed directly and accurately from the distribution of phase difference which is obtained from the radial shearing pattern by Fourier transform profilometry. By the numerical calculation and experiments, it is concluded that the new algorithm is credible and the accuracy of wavefront reconstruction with different amplification ratio is basically same based on this interferometer. It shows that this algorithm can be used to reconstruct accurately the distorted wavefront of ICF. A example of test of step structure is presented with different amplification ratio with He Ne laser.

    The compression of amplified chirped pulse by parallel grating pair is an important step in generating ultrashort ultrahigh intensity pulse. In this paper, for single pulse compression (30 min/shot), two methods are proposed in detail for the alignment of dual grating with large caliber (350 mm×185 mm×60 mm) and dense grooves (1760 lp/mm). The shortcoming and advantage of two methods are compared with each other. In addiation, the related problems of the alignment are discussed.

    The effects of indium solder coating and reflow soldering technique on diode bar soldering state are studied. Based on numerical simulation and experimental research, the design of cooler structure is optimized and the copper micro channels water cooler with low thermal resistance, low pressure is fabricated, which can meet the needs of cooling diode laser with more than 60W thermal dissipating power. A CW linear array diode laser with output power of 40 W, wavelength of 808 nm, spectral width of less than 2 nm, E O efficiency of 40% is achieved by packaging experiment. The experiment of pumping Nd∶ YAG solid state laser by the diode is carried out. The output power is 11.8 W with single transverse mode and 30% optical optical efficiency at pumping power of 40 W.

    In this paper, based on the conception of cross product and space in the superior algebra theory, using the Zernike polynomial and the orthogonalization method, a method of Shack Hartmann Sensor's model wavefront reconstruction on arbitrary area is proposed through linear transform. Through linear reverse transform, the wavefront can be expressed by Zernike polynomial easily.

    By a simplified model of gain region, the propagation and amplification of capillary discharge X ray within the cylindrical plasma with linear eletron density profile are studied with the geometrical optics approximation. The angle of refraction and the relation between out put intensity and deflection angle are given. The saturation length of X ray is given, too.

    One dimensional analytical expression of the instantaneous temperature in biological tissue under laser irradiation without considering the bloodstream cooling is derived. The temperature in biological tissue increases in exponent with time and decreases in exponent with the distance from laser irradiating area.

    This paper reported a CO2 laser scanning imaging demo system adopting the technology of scanning transmit, the same antenna for receiving and transmitting, heterodyne detection etc. The maximum operation distance of the system was calculated by using the radar distance equation. The imaging experiment with the targets 5 meters away indoor and the building 578 meters away, and the viewpoint ±2°×±1° is carried out. The outline picture of 10 frames per second, 32 rows per frame is obtained.

    This paper primarily researches the volume rendering of LCSM' data field. According to the property of its data field, a new lighting model of source spot lighting and the volume rendering method of Ti buffer are proposed. The experimental results show that this method is fit for LCSM system and can produce vivid 3D images.

    Mn/O nanoparticles were prepared by laser heating gas evaporation method in this paper, with a 150 W CW CO 2 laser as light source and Mn(Ac) 2·4H 2O as a target. The effects of process parameters on nanoparticles have been pilot studied. XRD, DTA and TEM were used to characterize the samples. The formation mechanism of Mn/O nanoparticles was preliminarily discussed. The experimental results show that the process parameters such as laser power density, reaction pressure, the sorts and rate of airflows et al., effect the sizes and crystal system of nanoparticles., The products are Mn 3O 456F, the diameter of nanoparticles is between 5~10 nm and 30~100 nm in Ar atmosphere. The products are Mn 3O 4 and MnO and the diameter of nanoparticles is between 5~10 nm and 15~60 nm in O 2 atmosphere.

    A new system based on 532 nm wavelength Nd∶YAG laser, which is used in measuring concentration and drop diameter of diesel spray, has been developed in this paper. It has some advantages such as less configuration, high precision, and capacity in measuring real diesel spray. The 2 D concentration and drop diameter distribution is visualized by this system, and the approach correlation structure inside the spray is also discovered.

    In this letter an approach to obtaining low repetition rate directly from a Kerr lens mode locked Ti∶Al 2O 3 laser by using a multiple pass cavity (MPC) is reported. A self starting mode locked laser (with a SESAM) generating pulses of 42 fs at a repetition rates of 20 MHz is obtained.

    It is found that the spatial phase shift is induced by the harmonic beam in aperiodic PPLN with spatial walk off, so it can be engineered to compensate arbitrary spatial phase distortions of incident beam. By applying it to improve beam quality of diode laser beams, diffraction limited beam quality can be realized without scarifying the conversion efficiency.

    An acousto optic Q switched diode pumped Nd∶YVO 4 laser at 1064 nm is reported here. When the repetition rate is 70 kHz, the maximum average output power of 6.45 W is obtained with an optical conversion efficiency of 34.9% and a slope efficiency of 37.3%. And the shortest pulse width of 7.9 ns is also obtained at the same repetition. The highest single pulse energy of 213 μJ with peak power of 11.8 kW is generated at 10 kHz repetition rate.

    A LD pumped, Cr∶YAG passively Q switched Nd∶YAG/LBO green laser was reported in this paper. With 600 mW incident pump laser, Q switched green laser with average power of 27 mW, pulse width of 15 2 ns, repetition rate of 16 4 kHz and peak power of 108 1W was obtained.

    In this paper, study on optics axes drift character of conductive cooling Ce Nd∶YAG lasers has been carried out. Using Cr 4+ ∶YAG passive Q switched and directional prism cavity, it is demonstrated that the optics axes drift was nearly nil, lasers output was stability in airborne laser under the condition of 5 Hz working pulse, 7.35 J pump energy and continue working for 1 min.

    Statistical properties of pulse laser signal detection using SiAPD as a detector has been theoretically studied, and the relation between the preset threshold and detection performance has been analyzed. Theoretical studies indicate that the threshold applied to the discriminator has the decisive influence on the detection performance. Analysis shows that primary photoelectrons and average gain of SiAPD determine the threshold scope within which it can guarantee the laser ranging systems detection probability and false alarm probability.

    This paper introduces a simple and sensitive method to measure the refractive index and to monitor the cure of epoxy composite. This paper researches the method of testing the solutions with different refractive index. A probe head and the system to measure the refractive index of epoxy on line during the cure process have been designed. The test result shows this system is credible, stable and the parameters tested are accord with the facts.

    A novel method is proposed to measure spectrum with waveguide holographic grating, based on fast Fourier transform for the interference pattern from the diffraction of light through the side of a fiber grating. The range of measurable optical wavelengths and resolvable wavelength interval are discussed with considering the period length of waveguide holographic grating and parameters of CCD detector. This method of spectrum measurement has the advantages of high resolution of spectrum, wide wavelength scope and simple structure etc.

    The transmission of 1064nm infrared pass through F P cavity, which has LBO second order nonlinear crystal inside was researched. The results show that the power density is increased obviously in LBO due to resonance of cavity. The cascaded second order nonlinear phenomena still can be observed in non single longitudinal mode continue wave 1064 nm beam with the input of 300 mW.

    The third harmonic conversion of Type Ⅰ/Type Ⅱ angle duning scheme of KDP is affected by aberrations of fundamental waves is studied, including the nonuniform distribution across the aperture of refactive index, phase mismatch and etc., which are deduced by aberrations of fundamental waves. The results of transverse intensity distributions and conversion efficiencies of super Gaussian beam with aberrations of Zernike polynomials are presented.

    Energy extraction efficiency, seed amplification factor, seed beam pulse width compression ratio and pump beam pulse width compression ratio versus angle between seed and pump beam at different energy ratio of seed to pump were experimentally investigated. When the angle between seed and pump was 1~2 mrad, energy extraction efficiency, seed amplification factor, seed pulse width compression ratio and pump pulse width compression ratio were changed very small. Stokes seed and pump beam could be misaligned by 1~2 mrad.
