A high power pulsed laser mode measuring system using planar CCD camera is hereby introduced in this peper. The system includeS beam attenuator, single pulse selection and pulse synchronizing, beam matching, CCD Camera, frame grabber hard, monitor, computer and system software. The software is hased on intensity-Moments Analyses. It can give spatial energy distributions of high power, high repitition rate laser pulses, and simulate measurements. The M2 factor of laser ham quality is calculated from the data measured, and the laser beam quality can be valued.

    In this paper the temperature stability of integnted optical asymmetric Mach-Zehnder interferometric modulators was analyzed and the results were given quantitatively. Research shows that there are very good temperature stability for asymmetric Mach-Zehnder modulators.

    Various methods for analysing topological equivalence of multistage interconnection networks (MIN's) were reviewed briefly. Topological equivalence and its variety of free-sauce optical interconnection crossover networks with SW bsnyan (F=S=2) networks were studied by using the graph analysis method (GAM) for topological equivalence of MIN's. This will develop the POtential applications of optical crossover networks in systems of digital optical computing, photonic switching and parallel multiprocessing computers.

    The differential methed is the only existing accurate method to investigate soft X-ray gratings. Using the method, we desisned sucessfully the soft X-ray laser output mirror with phase grating and calculated the possible experiment error. The numerical result and accuracy are also analysised and discussed.

    Copper alloys suitable for laser cladding on cast iron are selected from nine types of conventional powders. There are a POOr spreading ability and porosity of copper alloy over the surface of cast iron. Copper alloy surface is easily oxidized in atmosphere. These shortuges have been overcome by adding deoxidizers of St and H3BO3. Laser parameters, stress and coefficient of friction have been examined and the larger smooth surface of Cu/cast iron for friction by laser cladding has been made for the application of the guide shoes of machine.

    The characteristics for the various positive-branch con focal unstable resonators which magnification M ranges from 1.80 to 20.56 have been studied experimentally on discharge XeCl laser. The output beam divergence angles θ∥,θ⊥, energy E, near-field intensity Iout and far-field power density P versus M have been obtained under different pump rates.

    In this paper, the experimental results of LiF:F2+ color center tunable laser and the dynamic analysis of activated centers in the lasing process were reported. The laser is pumped by a pulsed SHG. Nd:YAG laser at room temperature. A brazed diffraction grating is used as tuning element. haser output in wavelength range from 850 nm to 1050 nm with a ark at 930 urn is obtained. The slope efficiency is about 1.5%.

    Upon the basis of oscillation condition of simultaneous multiple wavelength lasing, 1064 nm and 1318 dual wavelength Nd:YAG pulsed laser has been established. The output energies of 0.594 J and 0.86 J with efficiencies of 0.31% and 0.45% for the 1064 nm and 1318 nm respectively have been achieved. From the experimental results, we found this kind of dual wavelength pulsed laser has a quite gial spetio-temperal overlapping property.

    Microplasma and shock waves in the physiological saline produced by a Q-switched pulse YAG laser with nearby optical breakdown threshold energy are investigated by using optical shadowing exploring method, and a series of optical shadowgraphs of microplasma and shock waves versus the incident laser energy and the delay time are obtained. Influence of mechanical action of shock waves for the high--POwer pulse laser on the ophthalmic treatment is discussed.

    The emission spectra from the plasma produced by using Nd:YAG laser to ablate the solid Mg sample was measured with an optical multichannel analyzer. The Stark broadening of Mg 552.84, 516.74, 470.30 and 383.83 nm lines were obtained for a delaying of 1 to 2 us time. The Shark broadening of above lines for Td=1 μs and 2 μs were theoretically calculated with the semiclassical method and electric dipole approximation. The calculatedl results consisted with the experimental ones very well.

    By means of balance of rate equations the output spectrum of the laser with full spatial separation of lasing channels is calculated in stationary and quasistutionary approches. The laser characteristics fot the designed radiation spectral distribution by means of the pumping POwer redistribution along the active medium are studied theoretically and experimentally.

    Visible-photoluminesce at room temperatur has been observed from a-Si:H/a-SiNx:H multi-quantum-well (MoW) structures crystallized by Ar+ laser annealing technique. We have also studeid the dependence of the photoluminescence ark positions and full width of half maximum (PWHM) on the thickness of well layers and the laser powers.
